What is the role about?
We are looking for an experienced Workday Integrations and Functional Developer with strong technical and functional expertise to help ensure our clients are utilizing the best possible Workday solutions.
In this role, you will design, build, test, and deploy integration solutions while supporting functional configurations across Workday modules.
Responsibilities will include:
Develop, configure, test, and deploy integrations solutions for customers. (e.g., EIBs, Studio, APIs).
Collaborate with clients and teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored Workday solutions.
Create detailed system interface specifications, field mapping, and system process designs.
Creating and maintaining custom reports and dashboards
Manage integration deliverables across multiple projects and maintain timelines.
Troubleshoot issues, track risks, and escalate concerns to project management as needed.
Guide clients on integration strategies and Workday best practices.
Mentor and coach team members on Workday integration development.
Coordinate cross-functional implementation tasks, including creating and managing project plans.
Engage where appropriate in the sales cycle to help scope integration projects.
Support functional configurations for Workday business processes and provide technical expertise during implementation

As a VR consultant, you will have the flexibility to manage your own day, as long as you meet your set objectives and client demands. Often your team will be a mix of on-site and remote based members who will connect using IM, video calls and an online ticketing system. Good communication skills and time management is essential for this role.

What skills are we looking for?
Our roles are remotely based (even pre-Covid), meaning you will be working from your home office, connecting with your client and team on a daily basis.
To be successful in this type of environment, you will need to have the ability to communicate effectively (in English) with cross-functional teams, explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms, align HR / business knowledge with Workday functionality, and proactively drive process improvements. You will need to be comfortable with video calls and be proactive in keeping communication channels open with your client and team.
Skills and Experience Required:
Min of 5+ years of Workday Integrations developmental experience.
Strong understanding of Workday Modules (eg., HCM, Payroll)
5 years of combined experience developing and delivering technical solutions in a corporate environment.
5+ years of experience in the application of modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware);
Experience leading Integration design, and Process alignment
Experience in designer and developer related roles with demonstrated ability to deliver coded integration work to a production environment;
Detailed understanding of ERP System concepts and general module functionality;
Proven ability to map HR or Business needs to workday functionality;
Proven Experience with Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent) and PowerPoint;
Proven ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams including business users and other technology teams;
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment;
Other Qualifications/Skills that will be beneficial but not mandatory:
College or University Degree in HR or Information Systems
Workday Integration Certification is a plus
Experience with Workday Extend
Certifications in related technologies or project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) are advantageous.
Experience with any of the following: Java, JavaScript, .NET, XSLT, NetBeans IDE development background
As this is a remote role, you can be based anywhere in the EU or UK region, so long as you are authorised to work without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
