What is the role about?
We are looking for an experienced Workday Security Consultant who has in-depth knowledge of Workday security frameworks, security groups, and business process security policies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in managing Workday security roles, resolving security issues, and ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday Security.
Gather documentation and liaise with client staff.
Perform engagement procedures to identify and define security-related issues.
Review and analyze evidence and document business processes.
Prepare working papers to support results of security-related procedures.
Gather and identify business requirements to develop technical security solutions.
Anticipate and communicate security risks in Workday implementations.
Identify root causes of security defects and propose/implement remediation.
Contribute to project teams in all phases of security-related initiatives.
Assist in multiple workstreams as needed.
Participate in client-facing meetings and support security-related workshops.
As a VR consultant, you will have the flexibility to manage your own day, as long as you meet your set objectives and client demands. Often your team will be a mix of on-site and remote based members who will connect using IM, video calls and an online ticketing system. Good communication skills and time management is essential for this role.

What skills are we looking for?
Our roles are remotely based (even pre-Covid), meaning you will be working from your home office, connecting with your client and team on a daily basis.
To be successful in this type of environment, you will need to have the ability to communicate effectively (in English) with cross-functional teams, explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms, align HR / business knowledge with Workday functionality, and proactively drive process improvements. You will need to be comfortable with video calls and be proactive in keeping communication channels open with your client and team.
Must have Skills Required
At least 3+ years’ experience with Workday Security configuration.
Experience with Workday Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and security groups.
Knowledge of Workday Business Processes and how security impacts workflow execution.
Hands-on experience in security audits, compliance checks, and issue resolution.
Strong understanding of data privacy, GDPR, and other compliance regulations related to Workday security.
Excellent planning, interpersonal and time management skills with a track record of following through on dedications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with business users, IT teams, and HR stakeholders.
Fluent in English (writing, reading, and speaking.
Other Qualifications/Skills that will be beneficial but not mandatory
College or University Degree in HR or Information Systems
Workday Security certification is a plus.
Understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, and other authentication protocols.
Experience working in a global, multi-tenant Workday environment.
Strong documentation skills to create security policies and guidelines.
Background in HR systems security and enterprise applications.
Experience in Workday Integrations will be advantageous.
As this is a remote role, you can be based anywhere in the EU or UK region, so long as you are authorised to work without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
